Tri-Valley Wins 2A Football State Title PDF Print E-mail

HOIC co-champion Tri-Valley defeated Auburn 41-8 to win the IHSA Class 2A Football State Championship.  The win capped off a perfect 14-0 season for the Vikings.  Congratulations to Tri-Valley on this great achievement.


Lexington wins 2015 McLean County/HOIC Volleyball Tournament PDF Print E-mail

#4 Lexington outlasted #2 Tri-Valley 25-22, 31-29 to win its first HOIC VB Tournament title in the 10-year history of the conference.  #1 Dee-Mack defeated #6 Flanagan-Cornell to win the 3rd place match while #3 Heyworth downed #8 EPG for 5th Place.  In the Consolation Championship #9 LeRoy defeated #10 Blue Ridge.  For a complete bracket, click here.  Follow Heart of Illinois Conference events on Twitter @HOIConference.

EPG Boys, LeRoy Girls Repeat as HOIC Golf Champs PDF Print E-mail

El Paso-Gridley's boys golf team won its sixth consecutive HOIC golf tournament on September 29th at Weibring Golf Club while LeRoy's girls team won its third straight.  EPG's boys finished ahead of runner-up GCMS by 18 strokes while Tri-Valley finished third.  In the girls tournament, LeRoy finished 42 strokes ahead of runner-up EPG while GCMS finished third.

EPG Boys, GCMS Girls Win McLean County/HOIC Track Meet PDF Print E-mail

The El Paso-Gridley boys outscored 2nd place Tremont 108-99 to capture the HOIC boys track championship while GCMS's girls notched their sixth straight championship defeated runner-up EPG's girls 98-75.  Congratulations to all of the participants and best of luck in the upcoming sectionals.  Click here for Pantagraph coverage of the meet:  http://bit.ly/1KhtAGm
