HOIC Football Week 3 Results PDF Print E-mail

Week 3 of the HOIC football season included five conference matchups and several lopsided scores.  The closest final score of the week was Dee-Mack's 47-33 win over rival Tremont.  Dee-Mack moved to 1-1 in conference play and 1-2 overall while Tremont fell to 0-3 in conference and overall.  In other action, three teams remained unbeaten with LeRoy (3-0, 3-0) downing Lexington (0-3, 0-3) 36-6, EPG (3-0, 3-0) defeating Ridgeview (0-3, 0-1) 53-6, and Fieldcrest (3-0, 3-0) shutting out Fisher (1-2, 0-2) 55-0.  Tri-Valley (2-1, 1-1) defeated FCW (2-1, 1-1) 40-6 in the other conference matchup.  In non-conference action, Heyworth (1-2) fell to Maroa-Forsyth 62-8 and GCMS (1-2) was beaten by Tolono Unity 48-8.  GCMS actually picks up a conference win from that game because Tolono Unity took the spot on the Falcons' original schedule that was left open by Blue Ridge joining Ridgeview in a co-op.

Week 4 features five conference games and two non-conference games.  In conference action, Tri-Valley hosts Ridgeview, LeRoy travels to EPG, Heyworth hosts Fisher, FCW goes to GCMS, and Fieldcrest visits Lexington.  In non-conference games, Dee-Mack hosts Big Rock Crossroads and Tremont travels to Iroquois West.
