HOIC Football Round-up Week 6 PDF Print E-mail

Week 6 of the HOIC football season featured four conference games and three non-conference games.  In conference action, GCMS remained unbeaten with a 41-0 shutout of RBL while Fieldcrest shutout FCW 40-0.  Tremont doubled up Fisher 28-14 and Dee-Mack downed EPG 41-33.  In nonconference games, Tri-Valley moved to 6-0 overall with a 63-8 win over Chicago Senn while LeRoy topped Watseka 50-20 and Heyworth fell to Milford 24-14.

EPG Boys, GCMS Girls Win McLean County/HOIC Track Meet PDF Print E-mail

The El Paso-Gridley boys outscored 2nd place Tremont 108-99 to capture the HOIC boys track championship while GCMS's girls notched their sixth straight championship defeated runner-up EPG's girls 98-75.  Congratulations to all of the participants and best of luck in the upcoming sectionals.  Click here for Pantagraph coverage of the meet:  http://bit.ly/1KhtAGm

HOIC Art Festival PDF Print E-mail

The Heart of Illinois Conference Art Festival was held Friday April 10th at Heartland Community College.  Students from HOIC schools were able to display artwork and participate in a variety of art workshops.  Karlie Uphoff from El Paso-Gridley won Best in Show for her sculpture "Van Gogh," which was made entirely of aluminum cans.
